  • CPR 90.1 FM or at cpr.org. They use very good English. 

  • KLOVE 91.1 FM Christian music  

  • KNUS 710 AM Christian talk radio 

  • KPOF 910 AM Christian variety radio 

Talks at ted.com have subtitles and transcripts and make good learning tools.

The Learning Source offers free classes that meet twice a week. The Learning Source – Education

  • Emily Griffith- Very good English program. The classes are of good quality and not very expensive. Call at 720-423-4700 or email at LearnEnglish@emilygriffith.edu 

  • Pre-Academic and Community English (PACE): PACE is our academic program. In these classes, you’ll improve your everyday English and focus on skills that will prepare you for community college, trade school, and university. These classes are 8 weeks long.  

  • Career Readiness ESL (CRESL): CRESL classes are FREE English classes specifically for newly arriving refugees. You’ll learn English skills to help you get a job. Students in these classes MUST be refugees. Classes start every Monday.
