New Life Kidz
One of the foremost convictions of New Life Community Church is that the starting point for "making disciples of all the nations" (Matt. 28:19) is to first make disciples of our children. Every week, kids learn Bible stories that point them to Jesus. New Life Kidz is committed to providing a safe and loving environment for kids of all ethnicities and abilities.

AWANA FOR 2024-2025
Our AWANA club runs from August through April this year. Our first night will be on August 28. We welcome kids from three years old to 6th grade. We meet weekly on Wednesday nights from 6:15 until 8:00 PM. Our Awana club is full. We are sad to not have enough volunteers to welcome more children to our program. If you have any questions, contact Michelle Petree at mpetree@nlccaurora.org.
AWANA PURPOSE
The goal of AWANA is to reach boys and girls with the Gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him. The purpose of AWANA is two-fold: Evangelism and Training.
EVANGELISM
To draw boys and girls from the surrounding community into the club ministry where they may hear the gospel and accept Christ as Savior.
TRAINING
To prepare clubbers to help fulfill the Great Commission through outreach to the lost, service to the local church, development of leadership qualities, personal spiritual growth, and knowledge about God and the Bible.
THE AWANA EMPHASIS
Bible knowledge personally applied: While AWANA has many activities that interest boys and girls, such as games and special activities, the heart of the program is Bible memory work. Believing that God means what He said when He promised to bless His Word, AWANA encourages the clubbers to hide His Word in their hearts. The clubber handbooks contain between 30 and 90 verses depending on the age group, with the material becoming increasingly harder as they get older. But not to worry, clubbers will find that they become more comfortable with the memorization process as they move from club to club.
REGISTRATION
Our club is full. We’re sorry we cannot accept any new registrations at this time.
